It happens only in India !

Yeah !! These glitches can happen only in Indian movies.... Have a look !

Baghban:
Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini are separated right after Holi remember Amitabh singing Holi khele Raghubeera?). They are said to be separated for six months, i.e. From March to September. Within that six-month period, they celebrate Valentine's Day, which falls on February 14, and karva chauth, which is usually observed in October. There is no way these two occasions could come between March and September!

Lagaan:
Lagaan was shot in the late 19th century. At the time, an over in cricket used to consist of 8 balls. But in this movie, an over has 6 balls. Maybe modern cricket learnt from the movie.

Amar Akbar Anthony:
Three men donate blood at the same time to the same person.

Awwal Number:
Dev Anand is an omnipotent genius -- former cricketer, captain, army chief, commissioner, you name it. And Aamir Khan carries a huge transistor in his pocket while batting!

Khalnayak:
The police tracks the villain from an MS Word Document screen! Something that office team will be interested in)

Pyar To Hona Hi Tha: Kajol gets off the train to use the public toilet at the railway station and the train chugs off without her. Poor girl, little did she know that every train compartment has four toilets inside.

Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi: Akshay Kumar boards a Jet Airways flight to America . Well, well, some promotion for our Indian Jet Airways. That Time Jet Airways wasn't an International Flight. Or else we say that Movie was Pre-launched?

Raja Hindustani:
Navneet Nishan has short hair before marriage. After tying the knot, she acquires waist-length hair overnight. What a hair-raising experience!

Raja:
Dilip Tahil empties a can of petrol over Madhuri Dixit. Minutes later, Sanjay Kapoor takes the same can and pours it over Dilip Tahil. That's what I call an autofill!

Guddu:
Manisha Koirala and Shah Rukh Khan are seen hanging on a parachute during a song. But when the song ends, they land on a glider. What a switch above sea level!

Tere Mere Sapne:
Priya Gill is doing her BA. But at the bus stop, she is carrying an electrical technology thesis by B L Theraja. What an electrifying interest!

Thats all for now !! Enlist some more if you can... :P

GUEST POST BY SHRUTI SOLANKI
---------------------------------------------

This is a piece of crap. Ironically though, it says a lot of nice things about dis stupid boy..:p AYM (Angry Young Man)... :p

There is this guy I know
who puts up a great show
Funny, witty and friendly is he
As patient as patient could be

Sometimes serious, most times fun
Everything is packed into one

He makes you smile in times of despair
Now that is a quality so rare
Ever ready with a helping hand
If you've fallen, he'll help you stand

He's rekindled imaginations almost fifty times now
And each time he made us go "Wow!"
May he always be there
to wash away the sorrow
And hey Mr.ANKIT RATHOD
u better pay me by tomorrow.:P

(JUST KIDDING!!!)

Words of Wisdom!!

Dear readers,

I know have been regularly irregular in updating our blog. I apologize for that. This will continue for some more days as I am busy with admissions and other work.

Well, this is more of a letter to all of you than a normal write-up. This is something I want to share. While running about from college to college and meeting up with various people, last week while I was a in a meeting with one of my dad’s colleagues, i got attracted to a diary. I will put down the contents of the diary first and then would elaborate why it was worth publishing on the blog.

  • A goal properly set is halfway reached.
  • Good plans shape good decisions.
  • Where there is love there is life.
  • Winning is not everything but the effort to win is.
  • Aim in life is the only fortune worth finding.
  • Don’t find fault, find a remedy.
  • Every second in your life is of infinite value.
  • Nothing lasts forever, not even your troubles.
  • Better late than never, but never late is better.
  • Strength is your inner will not your physical capacity.
  • Desire is the secret of every man’s success.
  • Time heals all grief which reason cannot.
  • The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.
  • Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow.
  • The best way to predict future is to create it.
  • Have faith in yourself, all power is in you.
  • Imagination is the beginning of creation.
  • Getting ready is the secret of success.
  • An inch of gold cannot buy an inch of time.
  • A man’s real happiness is in contentment.

All of the above a re those things that we all know and we all tend to forget amongst the entire hustle- bustle in life. When I read these lines, I could feel a connect. I felt as though I have lived each of these at some point of time in my life. At 21 I feel so. For all of us, we have our own set of experiences, good or bad, and at those times we have knowingly or unknowingly convinced ourselves, using these words of wisdom, to move on, given the situation. There might be many more of these. Many more which we need to remember but don’t.

Here is a request. Readers please share with us if you know something that can help motivate us and continue working towards our goals in life.

Yours sincerely,

Garima ranawat.

Dream, Novel, Comparison and Confusion !!

Few months ago, I had a dream. Although I don't get dreams in my sleep very often, I had this lovely dream that day. That dream is not the point of discussion of this post, but still, its a vital part that makes the base of this post.

So, I, being a Good For Nothin' blogger, penned it down that very day. But then I changed my thoughts of posting it, as it could raise a zillion questions !

A couple of days ago, while having chat with one of my very good friends, I made her read that write up based on that dream. She was so spellbound by it, that she tagged me the NEXT Chetan Bhagat, and that too without even writing a single novel ;)

She further suggested, "Ankit, IT, MBA and business are not for you. Take your writing seriously. You can be the next writing sensation. Publish what you write, try writing a novel." and blah blah blah....

Writing a novel !! I haven't even had a nightmare with me as a novelist. I can never imagine myself taking so much pain, spending sleepless nights, writing a NOVEL !!

I don't know what made me share that 'dream' with her. I don't know what she liked so much in my way of writing. Although I don't find my writing that great so that I could be compared to Chetan Bhagat, but she being a very good friend, I believe her opinion was impartial. I hope it was. ;)

So the BIG question is, should I take writing seriously? I asked this question to myself. After pondering over it for quite sometime, I was so very confused that I couldn't decide. A part of my mind (don't know left or right) says "YES" and a part of it says "Paagal hai kya? Novel likhega. Hahaha !"

This kind of situation is referred to as "Dharam Sankat" in the Mahabharata. In english, they call it dilemma. And now I'm not able to decide whether to go ahead with the idea of writing a novel or not.

God save my tiny brain !!

PS: Being compared to Chetan Bhagat was a BIG thing for me. But nothing compared to the happiness if that dream comes true ! ;)

PS2: Apologies for a picture-less and unformatted post. My PC is not working. This one's posted from my Nokia E63 !
