TWO whole years !

Today, 7th October 2010 marks the second anniversary of this blog. Exactly two years ago, I started this blog just to catch up with the world. Blogging wasn't a rage at that time. But within no time it picked up.

When I started this blog, I had no idea of what I'm gonna put up on GFN ! I wasn't even sure on how long would I be able to sustain this blog. But it continued. With all your love, this little effort of mine has successfully completed two years despite some rough patches.

I think I should present a mini balance sheet for this year (and may be get happy at the progress)... So, here it is :

If it would've been a business, my investors would be very very happy by now !

I'm happy with the progress. Even if the number of posts decreased, the spread has increased. Thank you every one for the love !

And since you people haven't brought the gifts, no celebrations this time. :P

Cry cry itna cry karte kaayko hum?

This song from the movie "Jhootha Hi Sahi" seems apt for my situation. :P

Yeah... Some incidents lead to some other fucked up situations. But as people say, its a part and parcel of life and blah blah blah. But believe me, this song can calm you a bit... That's why I'm putting its lyrics over here !

Rote kaayko hum hey
Rote kaayko hum

Hona hai jo ho, sad hote kaayko hum

Cry cry itna cry karte hain kaayko
Itna darte hain kaayko
Pal pal marte kaayko

Why why aisa why waisa kyun hota
Yun hota toh kya hota
Jo hota hai woh hota

Fly fly baby fly dekhein odh ke
Dekhein baadal se jud ke
Dekhein phir na mud mud ke

Rote kaaye ko hum hain, rote kaayko hum
Hona hai jo ho, sad hote kaayko hum
Haan raaton ko na sote kaayko

Cry cry itna cry karte hain kaayko
Itna darte hain kaayko
Pal pal marte kaayko

Chaar pal ka hai, saanson ka kissa
Kitna hai hissa iss mein aansuon ka soch lo tum
Bachpan bhi tha ek, ik budha sa pal
Kis ne dekha kal, to is pal ki keemat jod lo tum

Rote kaaye ko hum hain, rote kaaye ko hum
Hona hai jo ho, sad hote kaayko hum
Haan raaton ko na sote kaayko

Baatein teri theek lagti hain
Raatein kyun hamari jagti hain
Haan laatein hum kyun na maarein beeti baaton ko
Bhoolun main toh mujh ko lagaana tum ik chaanta
Chubh jaaye toh kheench lena kaanta
No No Nooooooooooooo
Poonchu main jo tujhse kabhi ke kyun kyun daanta
Dena phir se ek aur chaanta
Kabhi nahi, kabhi nahi

Rote kaayko hum hain, rote kaayko hum
Hona hai jo ho, sad hote kaayko hum
Haan raaton ko na sote kaayko

Cry cry itna cry karte hain kaayko
Itna darte hain kaayko
Pal pal marte kaayko

Why why aisa why waisa kyun hota
Yun hota toh kya hota
Jo hota hai woh hota

Fly fly baby fly dekhein odh ke
Dekhein baadal se jud ke
Dekhein phir na mud mud ke

Cry cry, cry cry...

Crying is something that is our birth right. No one enters the world with a smile. Rote hue hi aate hain sab... And crying indicates that you are ALIVE !

PS: I know its a bit confusing post ! Still, enjoy the song... :P

Life ka Update !

Sorry readers for yet another post starting with an apology !

With so many things happening in my life, I had no time to write a blog post. And if I had time, I was in no mood to write one. Yes. It happens sometimes.

Even this one is just to let you people know that I am 'alive'. This was the sole motto of publishing this post.

Don't worry, I'll be back with a bang with something good. Just wait for a few days. Yes, everything will be there - CWG bashing, poems, feelings, etc etc etc !

Till then, keep showering your love.

And this one, being just a 'space filler' post, ends here.

Over and out !

Ayodhya

Ayodhya - the word itself revokes many memories - Ram Janmbhoomi, Babri Masjid, 6th Dec 1992, and the communal violence after that are amongst the few.

But Ayodhya dispute isn't that fresh. Its been there for decades. And whatever happened on 6th Dec 1992 can be termed as 'fresh'. The case over the title of the 'disputed' land has been there in the courts for more than 50 years.

And the judgement in this case will most probably be delivered on 24th Sep 2010. Yes, that's less than a week away. The government has appealed to maintain law and order and peace after the judgement is delivered. Now I realise how helpless the government is !!

Whatever the judgement is, it shouldn't be taken as a win or loss for any of the communities - be it Hindus or Muslims. Even if the case is delivered in any party's favour, there should not be any celebrations nor there should be any hatred. It should be taken as the win of the law of the nation.

A peaceful approach in this matter is what is the need of the hour. We don't need more communal clashes. In fact, we can't afford it. I hereby appeal through my blog, to maintain peace to each and everyone.

Let there be peace. Amen.

I am never alone...

Whenever I am alone,
I feel someone sharing my loneliness.

When I talk to anyone,
I feel someone sharing my every word.

When I sleep,
I feel someone in my dreams.

Whenever I am happy,
I feel someone increasing my joy.

Whenever I become sad,
I feel someone consoling me.

Whenever I am angry,
I feel someone cooling me down.

Someone shares my every moment,
Whenever I feel a gap between.

Tears make wet my cheeks,
And then someone smiles.

And love envelopes me,
And I feel there is

Someone inside me,
I am never alone...
